SACHS 1980’S CAMPAGNOLO RECORD
CINELLI: FOR SALE-a
stunning 57cm +- Richard Sachs built
in early 1980’s. I am the second
owner. The original owner took
excellent care of it and put it in
storage for over 15 years when he
moved out of New York State. After ten
years the owner had Cycle Art, Vista,
California refinish frame in their
Category 2 finish. That finish is in
excellent condition with only a few
minor blemishes. I purchased it from
storage and now offer it for sale
after a through overhaul of all
bearings areas. I have only ridden it
for test rides. Frame is straight with
no dents or rust. Campagnolo Record
components.

The seller obtained
this frame in February 2007 and is an all
original BENOTTO Model 3000 as portrayed
in the catalogue. It is a classic Italian
masterpiece built from Columbus SL tubing
using investment cast lugs, bottom bracket
and fork crown and built with
low-temperature silver-bronze solder to
maintain frame strength. Diamond
chainstays to maintain a rigid rear
triangle. This model was used
professionally on the Paris-Roubaix race
by Francesco Moser, etc. It is a
rare and special frame as denoted by the
unique serial number and the special
finish. The frame was originally
finished in chrome with a gold laquer
finish and it was refurbished by Atlantic
Boulevard in Bury.
Benotto Model
3000 - 1979, frame numbers under BB
1-81-57 and 1-23-79, seat tube 57cm,
Columbus SL tubing, bottom bracket has
heart-shaped cutout, Campagnolo dropouts,
braze-on cable guides, Benotto engraved
fork crown and seat stays. Forks with
Helicol steering column and blade
stiffeners.

Record rims on Super Record Hubs fitted
with Clement Strada tubular tyres, NOTE
